The bright pink and yellow glow of the sky filled the wide open area that lay just outside of Kylee's house. This open area was owned by Kylee, and was her property to use as she pleased. It was well kept and taken care of at all times. The grasses were always a bright, healthy green as she watered the area along with her lawn daily. The gentle touch of the sun's rays warmed the tan skin of a girl walking toward a medium sized horse stable. She had a pretty nice house even if she lived alone, and had 2 horses, along with a lot of equipment for them, and a modern stable she had built.
Moving slowly toward the stables, the slight breeze making the grass ripple back and forth. She was wearing a pink/purple/green plaid shirt that was unbuttoned, a white tank-top underneath, with Buckle jeans, and white cowgirl boots. A white belt was entwined through the loops in her jeans, with shimmering gems all the way across the whole belt, along with a large belt buckle that was covered in gems. With the ends of her pants tucked into her cowgirl boots, she headed toward the stable, with a bucket full of fresh hay and oats in either hand. Her hair was in in elegant curls taht fell to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her bangs spiralled down, but were pinned back with a bobby pin neatly. Walking into the stables, she went around the corner and set down the buckets next to each gate that locked the two horses she owned inside the area's they were given. Down the isle were 3 more areas for horses on either side. Kylee had wanted more than just 2 horses, but at the moment 2 horses would do. She was still getting use to Arizona, even if she had been there for about 2 years now. To her left, a large black horse whinnied at her. A silver plaque was set upon the wooden wall with the Horse's name. The letters spelled out the name, Despiadado, which meant 'Ruthless' in Spanish. Underneath the name of the horse was the word 'Despio', which is what Kylee called the horse for short, engraved into the metal. To her right was another plaque with the name, Alma, engraved into the silver. This, in Spanish, meant Soul and this was just why she named her horse this.
Turning to the horse named Despiadado, and smiled at the large black horse. "Hello, Despio. How is your day going?" Kylee asked with a smile at her large, Gypsy horse. Despio whinnied at her again, and she opened the gate smoothly. Stomping a foot as she walked in with a bucket in her hand, Despio watched her move toward his food trough. "Calm down, boy. I'm getting it." Kylee shook her head with a soft laugh, holding up the bucket to the trough. She poured the oats and hay into the trough evenly, and pulled away as the bucket became empty. "Alright, boy. Chow down." She told her horse, and walked out the gate before latching it closed. Crossing the isle, she laid down the empty bucket and picked up the filled bucket. Alma moved forward and tried to get her nose in the bucket to eat.
Patting away Alma, Kylee unhooked the lock and walked into the area with Alma. Maneuvering past Alma proved quite difficult, as the gypsy mare made it obvious she was hungry. While elbowing Alma's nose away from the trough, Kylee poured in the oats and hay, making sure it was all even. Ducking out of Alma's way, she headed out the gate, and latched it once again. "After you are done eating, Despio, we are going for a ride." She told the gypsy stallion, and picked up both buckets. Heading past a pair of areas for other horses, Kylee went to what she called the 'Care Station'. The shiny steel sink shined in the lighting that flowed through the room. She set the buckets down, and picked up two more buckets and filled them with ice cold water from the sink. Walking back with one bucket in each hand, she went back to the two horses. Leaning over the gate, she poured the water into the other trough on the opposite side of the area. Picking up the other bucket, she went to Alba's area and reached over the gate. Pouring in the water, and hopping down from the gate, Kylee picked up both buckets. She headed back to the Care station and set the buckets down before grabbing the two food buckets, and heading toward her house to give the horses time to feed.
